Hence the science of tantra developed for long lasting sadhnas. In which putting life in the navel and stopping there is the first step and it is also easy.

So the sage Maharishi, holding his life in the navel, used to be absorbed in penance for thousands of years. Since the whole body is like a dead body, the body does not even need food and water, so it has escaped unnecessarily and is not completely dead, so the body did not even rot. It was an evolved form of Tantra itself.

But from where we will know tantra as much as sages, we do not even know the origin of tantra. Still, it was told in the beginning that water does not immerse the body in two states, one in a lifeless, one in a dead body.
